Danantara Housing Expo offers homes for low-income communities

Danantara Indonesia has revealed that the Danantara Housing Expo will offer a variety of housing, including homes for low-income communities (MBR).

“We are supported by around 130 developers, consisting of 12 state-owned enterprise developers and the rest private developers. The categories comprise 10 major developers and the remaining developers, both medium-sized and those for MBR homes,” said Dian Takdir Badrsyah, Senior Director Sector Specialist Property & Real Estate at Danantara Asset Management.

Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta on Friday, Dian said the Danantara Housing Expo is the largest property expo ever held.

“This is an initiative of Danantara together with the state-owned enterprise ecosystem and also supported by Himbara (the Association of State-Owned Banks). So this is an integrated platform to expand public access to decent and affordable housing,” he said.

“So there is no need to worry about the units or the readiness of those units. In essence, if this can be translated, buyers can immediately occupy the housing without having to wait,” Dian added.

For context, Danantara Indonesia is strengthening collaboration within the national housing ecosystem as part of its support for the 3 Million Houses Programme, one of the government’s priority programmes as an elaboration of Asta Cita to expand public access to decent and affordable housing.

This effort is being realised through the holding of the Danantara Housing Expo 2026 on 27–30 August 2026 at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK.

The event brings together state-owned property enterprises, member banks of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara), developer partners, and supporting industry players in one integrated ecosystem.

Through this collaboration, the public can directly access housing options, obtain project information, consult directly with developers, and learn about various financing alternatives.

The event presents more than 200,000 housing units from Himbara developer partners, both state-owned and private, covering housing for low-income communities (MBR) as well as the non-MBR segment across various regions of Indonesia.
