Danantara Head Meets Finance Minister Suahasil to Discuss Investment Strategies
Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara received a visit from the Danantara Indonesia leadership team, led by Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Pandu Patria Sjahrir, on Friday (2/10/2026).
The meeting addressed the management and development of Danantara’s investments in support of the national economy. This meeting was disclosed through an official post on the Indonesian Finance Minister’s Instagram account. In the post, Suahasil noted that Danantara Indonesia holds a strategic role in driving economic growth and improving public welfare.
“Danantara Indonesia is one of the institutions that plays a very strategic role in achieving higher economic growth and accelerating the increase of welfare,” wrote the official Finance Minister account, as quoted by CNBC Indonesia.
Suahasil also mentioned that Danantara plays a vital role in maintaining the stability of Indonesia’s financial system and economy.
During the meeting, Pandu was accompanied by Danantara Indonesia’s board of directors and several experts. They are expected to assist Danantara in formulating various investment management strategies. Also present in the Finance Minister’s post were Rionald Silaban, Managing Director for Regulatory Legal at Danantara Indonesia, and Masyita Cyrstallin, Head of Economic & ESG Strategic Positioning at PT Danantara Investment Management.
“This meeting serves as a space to exchange views regarding the management and development of Danantara in supporting the Indonesian economy,” stated Suahasil’s account.
Suahasil expressed hope that the collaboration between the Ministry of Finance and Danantara Indonesia can continue to be strengthened. According to the statement, inter-institutional synergy is required so that Danantara can perform its role optimally.
“Hopefully, this inter-institutional collaboration and synergy can be further strengthened, so that Danantara is able to carry out its role optimally and contribute to the growth and prosperity of Indonesia,” she wrote.
According to the official structure of BPI Danantara, Pandu Patria Sjahrir is currently recorded as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Danantara Indonesia. Meanwhile, at Danantara Investment Management (DIM), Pandu serves as the CEO.
Danantara itself is an investment management agency tasked with managing and optimising government investments as well as the assets of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). In executing its investment mandate, Danantara Investment Management focuses on investments in several strategic sectors, including infrastructure, financial services, food and agriculture, healthcare, and real estate.
