Danantara Head Denies Rumours of PLN Board Changes
The Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN), Dony Oskaria, has stated that circulating reports regarding a reshuffle of the management structure at PT PLN (Persero) are incorrect.
“No, I am not aware of any reshuffle. That is likely a hoax,” he said when met at the DPR RI building in Jakarta on Monday (8/6/2026).
Mr Oskaria, who also serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, admitted that rumours often circulate ahead of General Meetings of Shareholders (RUPS). “Before the RUPS, there are often many hoaxes,” he noted.
He emphasised that the scheduled RUPS for PLN is set to take place on Monday, 15 June 2026.
Previously, rumours had circulated suggesting the dismissal of five PLN officials, including Edwin Nugraha Putra as Director of Transmission and System Planning, Adi Priyanto as Director of Retail and Trade, Evy Haryadi as Director of Technology, Engineering and Sustainability, Sinthya Roesly as Finance Director, and Adi Lumakso as Director of Risk Management. The rumours also suggested changes to the company’s nomenclature and the appointment of new directors.
