Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Since its launch in February 2025, Danantara has yet to release any financial reports. Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara’s Investment Management Agency (BPI), Dony Oskaria, explained the reason.

He stated that Danantara was established with a commitment to transparency, requiring BUMNs to be managed effectively and transparently.

Regarding the absence of financial reports, Dony cited ongoing financial clean-up of BUMNs, with some companies still pending.

‘Why hasn’t Danantara’s financial report been released? This is part of transparency; we are cleaning up BUMN finances and some are not yet complete,’ Dony said during a press conference in Jakarta on Sunday, 31 May 2026.

During the event, he also mentioned PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI), newly established and set to commence operations on 1 June 2026. Dony stated the new policy is expected to add value for the government and public.

‘These companies are generally publicly listed (Tbk), so the public will benefit more,’ he added.

PT DSI will oversee exports of three commodities: coal, palm oil, and ferro alloy. After implementation begins tomorrow, a three-month evaluation period will follow.

Full implementation of exports through PT DSI is scheduled for 1 January 2027.
