Danantara Dismisses Reports of PLN Board Shake-up as Hoax

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Management Agency (BP BUMN) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, has stated that reports regarding a reshuffle of the PT PLN (Persero) board of directors are hoaxes, as PLN has not yet held its General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS).

“No, there is no knowledge of a board reshuffle. That is a hoax. When a RUPS is approaching, there are often many hoaxes,” said Dony when met after attending a Working Meeting with Commission VI at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday.

Dony stated that, as of now, PLN has not conducted its RUPS. The PLN General Meeting of Shareholders is scheduled to take place on Monday, 15 June 2026.

“How can it be said that the RUPS has happened? The company has not held its RUPS. The date is the 15th,” Dony added.

These statements were made in response to circulating reports suggesting that the State-Owned Enterprise Management Agency and the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara) had already held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS LB) for PT PLN (Persero).
