Danantara COO Visits KPK, Requests Oversight of Downstreaming Projects

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, has requested the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to provide oversight from the outset for all state-owned enterprises (BUMN) involved in downstreaming projects, to ensure they are conducted properly and transparently. “Because this is the public’s expectation, we are requesting assistance from the beginning. Every group and team involved in the downstreaming project will receive training and prevention measures from the KPK’s deputy,” Dony said during a visit to the KPK building on Monday (29/6/2026). He stated this is a form of mitigation to prevent risks in the execution of downstreaming projects. Dony said Danantara does not want the substantial investments in these projects to yield suboptimal results. “We certainly do not want these large investments to not produce maximum results. So, it is not specific, but we will monitor everything,” he said. Dony visited the KPK to attend a meeting with the KPK’s Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, Aminuddin. Among the points discussed were the prevention interventions carried out by the KPK, regarding the integration of the whistleblowing system (WBS) in BUMN, and the placement of individuals certified in PAKSI, API, or corruption risk assessment (CERA) to carry out early corruption mitigation.
