Danantara COO Visits KPK, Requests Oversight of Downstreaming Projects

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, has requested the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to provide assistance from the outset for all State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) involved in downstream projects to ensure they are conducted properly and transparently.

“Because this represents the public’s hope, we are requesting assistance from the beginning. The plans that will be followed up by every group and every team involved in the downstream initiative will receive training and prevention measures from the KPK’s deputy office,” said Dony during his visit to the KPK Building on Monday (29/06/2026).

He stated that this is a form of mitigation implemented to prevent risks during the execution of downstream projects. Dony emphasised that Danantara does not want large-scale investments in these downstream projects to yield sub-optimal results.

“Regardless, we do not want large investments to fail to produce maximum results. Therefore, while not specific, we will conduct monitoring across the board,” he added.

Dony visited the KPK to attend a meeting with the KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, Aminuddin. Key points discussed included the KPK’s preventive interventions, the integration of Whistleblowing Systems (WBS) within State-Owned Enterprises, and the placement of individuals certified in PAKSI, API, or Corruption Risk Assessment (CERA) to mitigate corruption at an early stage.
