JAKARTA. President Prabowo Subianto held a special meeting with 12 global corporate leaders on the sidelines of his state visit to the United States on Friday (20/2/2026).

Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, who also serves as Danantara CEO, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said that during the visit, President Prabowo personally introduced Danantara to all the CEOs in attendance.

He noted that Danantara's presence received positive appreciation from global investors. They assessed Danantara as having the potential to become a strategic local partner in various investment schemes, both in Indonesia and globally.

Danantara COO Pandu Sjahrir said the investors' appreciation was inseparable from the President's direct leadership in opening the space for such strategic dialogue.

"There was probably a great deal of additional interest from these investors to invest and collaborate both within Indonesia and outside Indonesia," Pandu said.

He added that the investors specifically appreciated the President's commitment to strengthening the legal system and regulatory certainty as the primary foundation for long-term investment.

According to Pandu, the corporate leaders have also begun eyeing Danantara as a potential strategic partner.

Several investors are even considering opening representative offices in Indonesia as a form of long-term commitment.

"Because in their language, boots on the ground is very important, and they greatly appreciate that the President was able to receive them all," he continued.

Meanwhile, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Chairman Anindya Bakrie assessed that the President's emphasis on corporate governance and legal certainty was the central message that strengthened the confidence of the global business community.

"We saw for ourselves that, firstly, Danantara was greatly appreciated as a trading partner by those CEOs. And secondly, we also observed that the President emphasised the importance of corporate governance and legal certainty, and that was truly underlined and appreciated," Anindya said.
