Jakarta, Kompas.com - Danantara Indonesia’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dony Oskaria, has pledged that PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (PT DSI) will operate transparently with sound governance.

PT DSI, a state-owned export company, is set to commence operations on 1 June 2026.

During the initial transition phase, the company will receive reports from exporters regarding their export activities.

Oskaria stated that Danantara does not want the good intentions behind PT DSI’s establishment to lead to new problems due to poor governance. Therefore, he promised PT DSI will be managed transparently and subject to public oversight.

“We are ensuring the newly established company will operate transparently and be subject to public oversight,” Oskaria said.

According to Oskaria, PT DSI will add value to commodity export processes.

“This will not become additional bureaucracy, and we hope it will add value to the export of our natural resources,” he added.

Initially, PT DSI will manage the export of crude palm oil (CPO), coal, and ferrous alloys. During the transition period, exporters of CPO, coal, and ferrous alloys can continue their operations as usual but must report all activities to PT DSI.
