Danantara CEO Meets French Business Leaders to Discuss Investment, Infrastructure and Trade
Minister of Investment and Downstreaming and Head of BKPM, as well as CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, met with top executives of leading global companies during his visit to Paris, France. Discussions covered various sectors including investment and asset management, development of strategic industries and downstreaming, and urban infrastructure innovation.
In his social media post, Rosan mentioned companies he engaged with, including Amundi, Eramet, and JCDecaux. He stated that global partnerships are built through consistent dialogue, mutual understanding of both nations’ interests, and long-term vision.
‘In Paris, we discussed with leading global companies across various sectors, from investment and asset management to strategic industry development and downstreaming, as well as urban infrastructure innovation. Some of them include Amundi, Eramet, and JCDecaux,’ Rosan said in his Instagram post, dated June 1, 2026.
In another post, Rosan highlighted the launch of the Indonesia-France High-Level Business Council, which he described as a significant milestone in strengthening the two countries’ economic partnership.
The forum, witnessed by President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron, brought together industry leaders with a combined market capitalisation of $1.3 trillion.
According to Rosan, the meeting resulted in four new commercial agreements worth $3.5 billion, focusing on energy resilience, trade, and defence cooperation. Additionally, Macron’s state visit to Indonesia in May 2025 yielded 27 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) valued at over $11 billion.
‘Presided over by President Prabowo and President Macron, the forum united industry leaders with a combined market cap of $1.3 trillion, leading to four new commercial agreements totalling $3.5 billion,’ Rosan added.
He further noted that the business council was established to ensure effective implementation of investment commitments and accelerate cooperation realisation. Indonesia and France aim to triple trade value by 2035.
