Danantara CEO Confirms Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for PLN

Jakarta - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM and CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, has confirmed that an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) for PT PLN (Persero) will soon be held. The confirmation was delivered by Rosan after attending a briefing by President Prabowo Subianto for the board of directors and commissioners of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Thursday, 18 June 2026. When asked about the plan to hold the PLN RUPSLB, Rosan confirmed the agenda is being prepared. ‘It is planned,’ Rosan told reporters. However, Rosan did not provide further details regarding the timing of the shareholders’ meeting. He admitted he still needed to check the schedule that had been arranged. ‘I just got out, later, we’ll check,’ Rosan said briefly. Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto also did not give certainty regarding the news of the PLN RUPSLB. Airlangga only stated that he had just attended a meeting with PLN officials on Thursday morning. However, he did not elaborate on whether the discussion was related to the circulating RUPSLB agenda. ‘I had a meeting with PLN this morning.’ As of now, there has been no official statement from the management of PT PLN (Persero) regarding the schedule or the agenda to be discussed at the RUPSLB. However, Rosan’s confirmation strengthens indications that the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of the state-owned electricity company will be held in the near future.
