Jakarta – Collaboration with global strategic partners is a key step in accelerating the transformation of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) while strengthening global confidence in the Indonesian economy. Strengthening international networks is expected to open wider investment opportunities, accelerate knowledge and technology transfer, and support the development of strategic sectors that add value to national economic growth.

On Thursday (9/7), Head of the BUMN Regulatory Body and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, attended a meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and former Thai Prime Minister (2001–2006) who also serves on the BPI Danantara Advisory Board, Thaksin Shinawatra. The meeting was also attended by Danantara CEO and Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan P. Roeslani, Danantara CIO Pandu Sjahrir, and Danantara CTO Sigit Puji Santosa.

The meeting discussed various strategic cooperation opportunities that could support BUMN transformation and national development. Discussions focused on developing priority sectors, accelerating industrial downstreaming, strengthening corporate governance, and digital transformation through the utilisation of global networks and experience.

In line with these efforts, Danantara CEO Rosan P. Roeslani revealed that Danantara has become a strategic partner sought after by many global investors. “Danantara is a strategic partner sought by many foreign investors. We have a portfolio and projects that are very attractive to foreign capital,” said Rosan on Wednesday (8/7/2026).

Through synergy with various international partners, Danantara continues to encourage the creation of a more credible investment ecosystem, expand access to technology and global best practices, and increase investor confidence in Indonesia’s economic prospects. These efforts are expected to accelerate the transformation of BUMN into more competitive, adaptive, and globally competitive companies, while making a real contribution to inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.
