Danantara Announces Waste-to-Energy Partner for Greater Bogor
Danantara Indonesia has announced the selected partner for managing a Waste-to-Energy (WtE) facility in Greater Bogor. The company has appointed Zhejiang Weiming Environment Protection Co., Ltd. as the operational partner for the facility. The selection of the partner was conducted through a comprehensive and disciplined process, as documented in Presidential Decree No. 109/2025.
Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia Pandu Sjahrir stated that this partnership marks a significant step forward in introducing integrated waste management solutions based on good governance and the highest operational standards.
“The selected partner is expected to maintain consistent operational performance, ensure compliance with all applicable requirements, and support sustained engagement with surrounding communities,” said Pandu in an official statement on Friday (13/3/2026).
In line with Danantara Indonesia’s dual mandate, the Greater Bogor WtE facility will be developed with strong operational reliability, responsible environmental management, and collaboration and technology transfer with local stakeholders. Pandu emphasised that Danantara Indonesia consistently prioritises strong governance, with transparent implementation processes based on risk mitigation.
