Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara Indonesia, Dony Oskaria, said his team is preparing a joint work plan with PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) to accelerate the resolution of problems affecting the LRT City housing project.

The preparation of the work plan is targeted for completion this month so that project resolution for LRT City consumers can proceed immediately.

“I am preparing their work plan because they are a publicly listed company. So every capital injection must be approved by their general meeting of shareholders. Whether it takes the form of equity, which would automatically dilute existing shareholders, or a shareholder loan — we are currently reviewing this. But it will be resolved within this month,” Dony said when met at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Monday.

As previously reported, Danantara has prepared Rp456 billion to support the resolution of problems affecting the LRT City housing project, which is being developed by its subsidiary, PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk (ADCP).

The funds will be used to help resolve issues impacting 2,400 LRT City housing consumers.

Dony said Danantara and Adhi Karya will discuss the project resolution options in greater detail this week. The fastest option will be prioritised, including the possibility of unit transfers.

“They are currently presenting — this was only their first presentation to me. So we will choose whichever is fastest. There will certainly be options such as unit transfers and so on. We will meet with Adhi Karya in more detail this week,” he explained.

The acceleration of the resolution is intended to provide certainty to consumers who have already paid to obtain LRT City housing units.

“After this week, we will immediately proceed with the assistance process for Adhi Karya to resolve this project. Essentially, we want to ensure that this does not happen again. That is what matters,” he said.

It was previously reported that Dony held a meeting with the board of directors of Adhi Karya on Tuesday (11/8) to discuss the progress of the LRT City project and various public complaints.

During the meeting, Dony stressed the importance of following up on the various complaints raised by the public. Adhi Karya was also urged to strengthen communication with residents and relevant stakeholders.

“All public complaints need to be followed up immediately. Communication with residents also needs to be strengthened so that existing issues can be resolved promptly,” Dony said.
