Danamon Wealth Management Grows 20%, Here's Its Business Strategy
Jakarta: PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN) recorded approximately 20% year-on-year growth in Wealth Management Assets Under Management (AUM) from December 2022 to December 2025. The growth is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its wealth management business and priority customer services.
The business strengthening is in line with the awards Danamon received at the Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) Retail Banking Awards 2026. Danamon won two awards, namely Investment Product Innovation of the Year – Indonesia and Priority Banking Initiative of the Year – Indonesia.
Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head Danamon Ivan Jaya said the business growth was supported by the development of investment solutions and services tailored to customer needs.
“This award is a recognition of Danamon’s commitment to delivering innovative and relevant investment solutions, as well as priority banking services designed according to the evolving needs of customers. Through a combination of diverse investment solutions, strong advisory, and a comprehensive Danamon Privilege service experience, we aim to assist customers in managing, growing, and protecting their assets at every stage of their financial journey,” said Ivan, in a written statement, Tuesday, 18 August 2026.
In developing its wealth management business, Danamon is expanding its range of investment instruments and strengthening its advisory services. This approach allows customers to devise investment strategies based on risk profile, financial goals, and long-term needs.
Danamon also provides foreign exchange (FX) transaction facilities through D-Bank PRO. Through the ‘Adu Rate’ programme, Danamon offers reimbursement of up to five times the exchange rate difference if customers find a more competitive exchange rate than Danamon’s offer, subject to programme terms.
Meanwhile, the priority customer business through Danamon Privilege also recorded growth. In December 2025, the number of Danamon Privilege customers grew by approximately 25% compared to December 2023. In the same period, AUM of Danamon Privilege customers increased by approximately 23%. Danamon Privilege provides wealth advisory services, market insights, economic outlook, as well as a selection of investment and protection solutions. Customers also gain access to economic discussions and networking activities.
To support global transaction needs, Danamon provides Tabungan Danamon LEBIH PRO which allows customers to manage up to 12 foreign currencies in one account. Customers can also transact in various countries through the Danamon Global Currency Card with an Auto Switching Currency feature.
Danamon Privilege customers also receive a number of service benefits, including airport transfer facilities and various exclusive experiences. These services are integrated with the Danamon American Express® Platinum Credit Card, which is intended for Danamon Privilege customers.
In addition, customers can earn cashback of up to Rp1 million per month for domestic and international transactions using the Danamon Privilege Debit Card, subject to applicable terms. Ivan said Danamon will continue to develop solutions and services to keep pace with changing customer needs.
