In a bid to support the tourism sector and cater to the public’s enduring need for leisure, Bank Danamon is hosting the Danamon Travel Fair in seven major cities: Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, Semarang, Pekanbaru, Medan, and Pontianak. The event runs from 24 July to 9 August 2026.

Ivan Jaya, Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head at Danamon, stated that the fair is designed to provide financial solutions that support both travel and religious journeys. “This celebration reflects Danamon’s commitment to growing together and assisting customers at every stage of their lives,” he said in Bandung on Friday.

A key highlight is the Danamon Global Currency Card, a debit card that facilitates transactions in 12 different currencies, eliminating the need for travellers to carry large amounts of cash or search for money changers abroad.

The fair features a range of promotions. Customers can save up to 70% on holiday packages and Hajj or Umrah packages by topping up their Danamon LEBIH PRO accounts. Danamon JCB Precious credit cardholders can enjoy a 15% discount on flight tickets to Japan, along with extra baggage allowance. Other offers include savings of up to IDR 7 million on transactions made with Danamon debit, credit, or charge cards, and a flash sale programme where customers can pay just 70% of the price for premium items like a Japan travel package for two or an iPhone 17 Pro.

Additional incentives include cashback of up to IDR 70,000 for the first 20 customers who open a new Danamon LEBIH PRO account and conduct foreign exchange transactions, and a shopping voucher of up to IDR 300,000 for approved credit card applications. Customers using the QRIS D-Bank PRO feature can also receive 70% cashback up to IDR 25,000.

Ivan emphasised that Danamon’s commitment extends beyond providing banking products to accompanying customers in achieving their life goals, whether that involves family holidays, exploring new destinations, or undertaking religious pilgrimages. Meanwhile, Pinastika Junia, a Danamon Regional Corporate Officer, expressed optimism that the tourism sector in Bandung would be revitalised with the reopening of Husein Sastranegara Airport as an international hub.
