JAKARTA – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) has won two awards at the Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) Retail Banking Awards 2026, namely Investment Product Innovation of the Year – Indonesia and Priority Banking Initiative of the Year – Indonesia. The awards were announced on 2 July 2026, marking the third time Danamon has been recognised at the ABF Retail Banking Awards. Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head Danamon Ivan Jaya said the awards reflect the company’s efforts to develop investment solutions and priority banking services tailored to customer needs. “This award is a form of recognition for Danamon’s commitment to delivering innovative and relevant investment solutions, as well as priority banking services designed to meet customers’ evolving needs,” Ivan said in a written statement on Wednesday (12/8/2026). The Investment Product Innovation of the Year – Indonesia award was given for the development of Danamon’s investment products and services. This performance is reflected in the Wealth Management Assets Under Management (AUM), which grew approximately 20% year-on-year from December 2022 to December 2025. Danamon also noted it was the first bank in Indonesia to offer Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) as an investment instrument option for customers. The development of these investment services is supported by an Advisory & Market Strategist team, a range of investment instruments, and a wealth advisory approach tailored to customers’ risk profiles and financial goals. Beyond investments, Danamon has also expanded its foreign exchange transaction services through D-Bank PRO. Through the “Adu Rate” programme, customers can receive a refund of up to five times the exchange rate difference if they find a more competitive rate than Danamon’s offer, in accordance with the programme’s terms. Meanwhile, the Priority Banking Initiative of the Year Indonesia award was given for the development of the Danamon Privilege service. As of December 2025, the number of Danamon Privilege customers grew by approximately 25% compared to December 2023. Over the same period, the AUM of Danamon Privilege customers increased by around 23%. The Danamon Privilege service includes wealth advisory, market insights, economic outlooks, and various investment and protection options. Customers also gain access to economic discussions and networking events. Danamon also provides supporting facilities for transaction and lifestyle needs, including airport transfer services, access to exclusive experiences, and facilities through the Danamon American Express Platinum Credit Card. For international transaction needs, the Danamon LEBIH PRO Savings account allows customers to manage up to 12 foreign currencies in a single account. Danamon also offers the Danamon Global Currency Card with an Auto Switching Currency feature. Ivan said Danamon will continue to develop solutions and services to keep pace with changing customer needs. “Going forward, we will continue to innovate and improve the quality of the solutions and services we provide to remain relevant to the increasingly dynamic and evolving needs of our customers,” he said.
