Danamon, Manulife, and Prasmul Synergise to Form Future Education Planning Ecosystem for Children

PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk has partnered with Universitas Prasetiya Mulya and PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia to launch Danamon Prasmul EduWealth (DPEW). DPEW is an education planning ecosystem that helps Indonesian families prepare for their children’s future in a more planned, sustainable, and protected manner. Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head of Danamon, Ivan Jaya, stated that DPEW integrates the educational perspective of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, banking solutions from Danamon, and insurance protection from Manulife Indonesia. “So that families can design educational goals, prepare funding, and at the same time maintain the continuity of the plan from various life risks,” Ivan said in his statement on Tuesday, 14 July 2026. According to him, early financial planning is becoming increasingly important along with the rising cost of education. “Therefore, through DPEW, Danamon wants to help families build saving habits and prepare education funds gradually according to their needs,” he said. Chairman of the Prasetiya Mulya Foundation Board, Prof. Dr. Djisman S. Simandjuntak, emphasised that education is the best investment parents can give their children. He expressed strong belief that education is not just about choosing the best university, but also about ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. “Through DPEW, we want to help Indonesian families prepare their children’s educational journey in a more directed, planned, and sustainable manner,” Djisman said. The event took place at the Harry-Jusuf Auditorium, BSD City Campus of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, and was attended by parents, school principals, counselling teachers, education communities, industry practitioners, and leaders from the three institutions.
