The Bali and Nusa Tenggara Regional Team of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk has distributed humanitarian aid to communities affected by the earthquake in Maurole District, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.

Regional Corporate Officer for Danamon Bali and Nusra, I Gusti Agus Indrawan, said the assistance comprised rice, blankets, tarpaulins, eggs, instant noodles, biscuits, mineral water, and various other essential supplies.

“This assistance reflects Danamon’s commitment to supporting the fulfilment of basic needs for communities impacted by the earthquake that struck the NTT region on 15 August 2026,” he said.

The earthquake, centred near Mbay in Nagekeo Regency, caused fatalities and injuries as well as damage to facilities and infrastructure across several areas.

Agus said the aid distribution was carried out in coordination with the local government and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) to ensure it was delivered effectively, according to need, and on target.

The assistance was a gesture of sympathy and support from Danamon for communities affected by the disaster.

“We extend our sympathy and support to the communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara. We hope conditions can recover swiftly and that the various response efforts on the ground can continue to proceed well,” he said.

He said Danamon was striving to be present to help communities meet their basic needs while also supporting the post-disaster recovery process.
