Celebrating its 70th anniversary, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (‘Danamon’) has reaffirmed its commitment to being a trusted financial partner, embracing the theme ‘Growing Together at Every Step’. The bank introduced a special anniversary logo inspired by the synergy between its Japanese parent, MUFG Bank, Ltd., and its local entities, including Adira Finance and Home Credit Indonesia.

‘Danamon’s 70-year journey is a significant milestone that reflects customer trust, stakeholder support, and our ability to adapt and grow amid the dynamics of the financial services industry,’ said Nobuya Kawasaki, President Director of Danamon. ‘This celebration is not just about looking back at the path we have travelled, but also about strengthening our commitment to the future. Through collaboration within the MUFG group, we will continue to enhance our capabilities as a single financial group to deliver holistic, value-added financial solutions for all customers at every stage of their lives and financial journeys.’

To mark the occasion, Danamon launched two new features on its D-Bank PRO digital platform: QRIS Pay and Secondary Bond Investment. The bank also introduced a series of special promotional programmes under the banner ‘Hujan Kejutan’ (Rain of Surprises). These include a ‘Hanya Rp70’ promotion offering selected menus at partners such as Kopi Kenangan, Chigo, Chatime, and XXI cinemas, as well as a ‘Hanya Rp70.000’ promotion for dining packages at Yoshinoya and HokBen, and a reflexology package at Kokuo. Additional offers include discounts of up to 70% on cooking oil purchases at Indomaret with a minimum cash deposit via D-Bank PRO.

The celebration is further supported by regional cashback promotions of up to 70% at 24 food, beverage, and retail merchant partners across 11 regions. An Exclusive Travel Fair will also be held in seven cities, offering savings of up to 70% for customers using Danamon savings and credit card products. The anniversary series will conclude with the Danamon Festival, a cultural event blending Indonesian and Japanese elements featuring artists such as Ayu Ting Ting and Hiroaki Kato, scheduled for 31 July 2026 at Lapangan Karangpawitan.
