Damai Cartenz-2026 Patrol Provides Security and Health Services in Puncak

The Damai Cartenz-2026 Operation conducted a patrol in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, not only to monitor the security situation but also to build communication and provide direct services to the community. Head of Damai Cartenz-2026 Operation, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, stated that the patrol aimed to ensure residents feel protected and have a space to convey the various conditions they face. Personnel engaged in dialogue with residents at several points along the patrol route while also providing health check-ups and simple education on the importance of maintaining bodily health. Direct communication with the community is a crucial part of building trust and detecting various potential security disturbances in the area early. During the activities, personnel spoke with residents to listen to the local security conditions and urged the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any potential threats to public security and order. Residents encountered also received health check-ups and health education as part of the services provided by Damai Cartenz-2026 Operation personnel to the community. Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz-2026 Operation, Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, said the dialogic patrol is an effort to maintain security while strengthening communication with the community. ‘With the presence of personnel in the field, we hope residents feel safer and any potential disturbances can be anticipated early,’ he said. A resident of Sinak District, Yonas Wenda, said the presence of personnel provided a sense of security as well as direct benefits for the community. ‘We feel safer when patrols come to the village. Besides maintaining security, the personnel also talk with us, provide health check-ups, and listen to what we have to say,’ he said. Throughout the activity, the situation in Sinak District was observed to be safe and under control. The presence of personnel among the community is expected to continue strengthening the relationship between the authorities and residents and support the creation of a safe and conducive situation. The patrol is part of the Damai Cartenz-2026 Operation’s efforts to maintain security stability while delivering services to the community in the operational area.
