PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) has officially introduced its latest air purifier line, the MC555AVMA, as a solution for maintaining indoor air quality amidst increasing public concern regarding air cleanliness due to Indonesia’s dynamic weather conditions. The launch represents DAIKIN’s step towards providing fast, intelligent, and comprehensive air cleaning technology to support modern lifestyles.

Alexander Eko Wibowo, General Manager of Retail Sales at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, stated that the MC555AVMA is designed with various innovations capable of creating the best indoor air quality, presented in a compact design that is easy to place in various areas of the home. “Bringing a full range of innovations to create the best indoor air quality wrapped in a compact design, the MC555AVMA serves as a support for both comfort and health in a modern lifestyle,” said Alexander Eko Wibowo.

This air purifier combines STREAMER technology with an Electrostatic HEPA filter. The Electrostatic HEPA filter functions to filter harmful airborne particles, while the STREAMER technology works to decompose viruses, bacteria, and various other pollutants after the filtration process. The collaboration of these two technologies ensures that filtered particles are not redistributed through the device’s airflow.

To support optimal air cleaning, the MC555AVMA is equipped with three air inlets with strong suction power capable of reaching all areas of a room. One air inlet is positioned lower, near the floor surface, helping to clean areas where children and toddlers frequently play. The air inlet design also supports effective circulation and air cleaning for rooms up as large as 41 square metres. With a weight of approximately 6.8 kilograms and a compact body, the device is also easy to move according to user needs.

DAIKIN has also equipped the MC555AVMA with a ‘Pet Mode’, a feature specifically designed for owners of furry pets such as cats and dogs. When this feature is activated, the device operates automatically every five minutes to capture airborne pet hair before it settles on furniture or floors. This feature works alongside a deodorising filter that helps eliminate unpleasant odours, ranging from pet scents to cooking smells and certain gases, ensuring indoor air quality remains maintained.

To support daily convenience, the air purifier also features an ‘Auto Mode’ that automatically adjusts performance based on air quality detected by sensors. Meanwhile, ‘Econo Mode’ allows the device to operate more energy-efficiently by switching to silent or low modes depending on the surrounding air pollution levels. As an additional feature, DAIKIN has included a child lock to prevent accidental setting changes, ensuring the air purifier’s operation remains safe and optimal.

Alexander added that the combination of air cleaning technology and various supporting features is expected to provide a more comprehensive clean air experience for the Indonesian people. “With the combination and high performance of all its air cleaning technologies and comfort-supporting features, the DAIKIN air purifier MC555AVMA is ready to be a new companion for the Indonesian people in creating healthier homes,” he said.

DAIKIN is marketing the MC555AVMA at a price range of approximately Rp3,039,000 per unit in electronic store networks and up to Rp3,339,000 per unit through online sales channels. The product is available at various official DAIKIN dealers in Indonesia, as well as through electronic store networks and official e-commerce platforms.
