Daihatsu vehicle sales rise to 12,336 units in February
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The retail sales figure for Daihatsu vehicles in February 2026 rose by 10 percent from the previous month to 12,336 units. More than 90 percent of Daihatsu vehicles sold during the period were Commercial Low commercial vehicles as well as passenger cars in the Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) and Medium SUV segments, according to the company’s press release on Wednesday. The sale of commercial vehicles accounted for 49 percent of total Daihatsu vehicle sales, with Gran Max PU (Pick Up) sales at 4,010 units and Gran Max MB (Mini Bus) at 2,033 units. Passenger cars contributed 51 percent to Daihatsu’s sales. LCGC Sigra and Ayla sales were 3,906 units and Medium SUV Terios recorded 1,351 units. According to the company, the sales data show the public’s sustained interest in affordable, efficient passenger vehicles that meet family needs.
