Daihatsu Gran Max Population in Indonesia Exceeds 900,000 Units
JAKARTA - Present as a driver of mobility for business actors and enterprises, the Daihatsu Gran Max has sold more than 900,000 units in Indonesia since its first launch in 2007 up to 2025.
This light commercial vehicle, which has several versions, has become the choice for business actors. Moreover, the Gran Max can also be converted into a multi-purpose vehicle that adapts to various business needs.
Throughout 2025, the Gran Max pickup sold more than 43,000 units and became the market leader with a 58% market share in the low-end pickup segment.
More than just numbers, the Gran Max’s achievement aligns with the growth of the commercial vehicle market in the country, which last year contributed around 27% or more than 222,000 units, from the total national automotive market exceeding 834,000 units.
Daihatsu itself has consistently maintained its number two position in the national automotive market for 17 consecutive years, with sales of around 137,000 units or a 16.5% market share.
