Daihatsu and Wuling to Feature at the GIICOMVEC 2026 Exhibition
The Indonesian Automotive Association (Gaikindo) will hold a commercial vehicle exhibition from 8 to 11 April 2026. Gaikindo Chairman Putu Juli Ardika said that the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
“GIICOMVEC is designed to be a bridge that connects the national automotive industry with potential buyers, both from within the country and abroad,” he said in a written statement on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
GIICOMVEC 2026 will feature brands from the commercial vehicle industry and its supporting industries. Several new brands that will showcase their innovations include Daihatsu, DFSK, Foton, Hino, Isuzu, JAC Motor, Mitsubishi Fuso, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling.
The exhibition, which focuses on business-to-business transactions, will also provide a special area for a China pavilion, which will showcase various vehicle innovations from China. The Indonesian automotive body industry and other supporting industries will also be present in Hall B of the JIExpo Kemayoran.
Putu hopes that this exhibition can expand the market network for the automotive industry and open the way for wider exports. “These export figures can continue to increase and provide a greater contribution to the achievements of the Indonesian motor vehicle industry,” he said.
The Daily Chairman and Head of the Exhibition and Conference Organizer for Gaikindo, Anton Kumonty, said that this commercial vehicle exhibition invites more than 11,000 trade visitors. Those in attendance come from various industrial sectors, such as transportation, logistics, passenger transport, manufacturing, financial services, retail, telecommunications, energy and mining, chemical companies, government agencies, and others.
Gaikindo will also hold a truck and bus demo area, which will provide visitors with the opportunity to witness direct trials of vehicles and the latest technology according to their needs. This experience provides space for trade visitors to estimate their operational needs.
“We want GIICOMVEC to be the right solution where trade visitors can get all their business needs in one go,” he said.
This commercial vehicle exhibition does not charge an entrance fee but is only for trade visitors. Visitors can register through the official GIICOMVEC 2026 website.
