Daelim wins RI project
SEOUL (AFP): South Korea's Daelim Engineering Co., said yesterday it had won a US$350-million contract to build a thermal power plant in Indonesia.
Under the turnkey contract, Daelim will build two coal-fired 100-megawatt and two 50-megawatt plants for the Sibolga and Amurang power stations, starting this year and completing the project in 1999.
The contract, authorized by Indonesian's state-run PT Perusahan Listrik Negara, involves design, procurement and construction, the company said.
