Dadan Removed, Prabowo Appoints Nanik S. Deyang as New Head of National Nutrition Agency

“Appointing Ms Nanik S. Deyang as the new Head of the National Nutrition Agency,” stated the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/6/2026). Additionally, Agustina Arum Sari and Major General TNI Trenggono have been appointed as the new Deputy Heads of the BGN.

Previously, Dadan Hindayana was removed from his position as Head of the BGN. “On this Tuesday, 2nd June 2026, the President has made the decision to change the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency. This includes the replacement of Mr Dadan Hindayana as Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Mr Lodewyk Pusung as Deputy Head, and Mr Sony Sonjaya as Deputy Head. This decision is accompanied by expressions of gratitude for their hard work and dedication in building the foundations and developing the National Nutrition Agency,” said Prasetyo at the Presidential Office.

Dadan Hindayana was originally inaugurated by the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, during the final period of his cabinet on Monday (19/8/2024). He was entrusted by Jokowi to lead the National Nutrition Agency, the body responsible for managing the free nutritious meal programme initiated by the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration.
