Dadan, Lodewyk, and Sony Sonjaya Immediately Detained by Attorney General's Office

The former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, was immediately taken into the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) detention vehicle following an interrogation regarding alleged corruption within the institution. Observations at the location on Wednesday (3/6) showed Dadan exiting the Attorney General’s Office Circular Building wearing a pink detainee vest with his hands handcuffed. Dadan was under heavy escort by investigators and was led into a detention vehicle waiting in the building’s courtyard. Alongside Dadan, the former Deputy Head of BGN, Lodewyk Pusung, and Sony Sonjaya were also immediately taken to the detention vehicle after undergoing questioning. Lodewyk exited after Dadan, also wearing a pink vest and handcuffed, followed by Sony Sonjaya in similar attire. None of the former BGN officials provided any statements, remaining silent when questioned by journalists. The Attorney General’s Office has not yet released an official statement regarding the specific detention location for Dadan, Lodewyk, and Sony.
