Dab In! Youth Pack JEC to Liven Jogja FinFest 2026
Yogyakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Residents of Yogyakarta are beginning to crowd into the Jogja Financial Festival, held at the Jogja Expo Centre in Bantul from 22 to 24 May 2026.
Crowd observations show visitors largely from the younger generation, from pupils to university students. Schoolchildren in Scout uniforms were also seen attending the event.
Adults were also present, lining up at the entrance from around 08:35 WIB.
The Jogja Financial Festival 2026, taking place at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) in Yogyakarta, will be opened by the Chair of the Financial Services Authority’s (LPS) Board of Commissioners Anggito Abimanyu, the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Ova Emilia, and the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X.
Also present will be the Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Friderica Widyasari Dewi, and the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Aida S Budiman, who will discuss the current state of Indonesia’s financial sector in more depth.
The Jogja Financial Festival 2026, to be held over two days, will feature a range of engaging activities, such as business talks, educational classes, and a career corner. Not to be missed, participants can also enjoy other entertainments such as a comedy live show with Lapor Pak, performing at 13:00 today.
In the afternoon educational class session, attendees can gain knowledge and learn directly how to manage money and invest from experts. Topics to be explored include The New Wealth Era: Market, Algorithm, and Money; Financial Survival for the Young Generation; and How to Manage Finances in the Creative Industry.
At the end of today’s programme, participants will also be treated to musical performances by Happy Asmara and veteran singer Ari Lasso.
