DAAZ Share Price: IDX Issues Unusual Market Activity Warning
Jakarta, TopBusiness – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has announced an unusual increase in the share price of PT Daaz Bara Lestari Tbk (DAAZ), which it has classified as Unusual Market Activity (UMA). Investors have been urged to exercise greater caution and monitor developments in trading in the company’s shares before making investment decisions.
The announcement was made in letter No. Peng-UMA-00343/BEI.WAS/10-2026, dated 12 October 2026.
In the announcement, Endra Febri Styawan, Acting Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, said the unusual rise in DAAZ shares had attracted the exchange’s attention as part of its efforts to protect investors.
However, the IDX stressed that an UMA designation does not automatically indicate a breach of capital-market laws and regulations.
“An Unusual Market Activity (UMA) announcement does not automatically indicate a breach of capital-market laws and regulations,” the IDX said in the announcement.
Endra also said the exchange was monitoring developments in DAAZ’s trading patterns following the unusual price increase.
In view of the situation, the IDX advised investors to consider several important factors before trading DAAZ shares.
First, investors should review the listed company’s response to the exchange’s request for clarification. This information is needed to understand developments and the company’s current circumstances.
Second, investors should examine the company’s fundamentals and all information disclosed to the public.
Third, investors should reassess the company’s planned corporate actions, particularly where these have not yet received approval at a General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).
The IDX also urged investors to consider the various risks that may arise in the future before making investment decisions.
The monitoring forms part of the IDX’s efforts to maintain orderly, fair and transparent share trading in Indonesia’s capital market.
With DAAZ included in the UMA announcement, market participants are expected not to base investment decisions solely on price movements, but also to consider official company information and developments in the exchange’s monitoring.
At the time the announcement was issued, the IDX said it was still monitoring DAAZ’s trading patterns. The UMA announcement is not a determination that the issuer or any particular party has committed a capital-market violation.
