D-Lanz to enter Indonesia
GLEN ROCK, N.J. (Dow Jones): D-Lanz Development Group, Inc.
(DLNZ) was given permission by Scantek Medical Inc. (SKML) to
negotiate with Indonesian and Malaysian distributors to supply
Scantek's BreastCare device in those countries.
Skantec holds the worldwide rights to the device, which
detects abnormalities in the breast, including breast cancer.
A D-Lanz spokesman said the company will receive unspecified
monetary fees from the distributors.
"There is no obligation to pay a fee to Scantek," the
spokesman added.
D-Lanz plans to distribute the device in Indonesia and
Malaysia in the second calendar quarter of this year.
In a press release Friday, the company said BreastCare gross
margins are expected to be more than 50 percent, of sales.
D-Lanz sales figures weren't immediately available.
