D-8 Halal Expo 2026 Targets Cross-Border Halal Investment and Trade

The halal industry is increasingly becoming a driver of global economic growth. Capturing this opportunity, Indonesia is presenting the D-8 Halal Expo Indonesia (HEI) 2026 as a platform to bring together business players, investors, international buyers, government officials, and various stakeholders within the halal ecosystem.

The D-8 Halal Expo Indonesia 2026 will take place from 8 to 12 July 2026 at the Senayan Tennis Indoor Complex in Jakarta. The exhibition is organised by PT Angan Kreasi Semesta (Skyconnection) with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance (KNEKS), the Halal Product Assurance Organising Body (BPJPH), and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).

The event is part of the official series for the D-8 Summit 2026, carrying the theme ‘Strengthening D-8 Halal Economy Through International Collaboration.’

Aryo Wibisono, President Director of Skyconnection and organiser of the D-8 Halal Expo Indonesia 2026, stated that all preparations have entered the final stage and are proceeding according to plan. According to him, the expo is not merely a showcase for halal products but also a momentum to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the development of the global halal economy.

‘The D-8 Halal Expo Indonesia 2026 will bring together business players, investors, buyers, government, and the public in an international-standard collaborative ecosystem,’ Aryo said in a press statement.

Aryo noted that participant enthusiasm is increasing. To date, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Palestine, and Nigeria have confirmed their participation. To encourage business transactions and partnerships, the committee is also inviting potential buyers from various countries.

Through the D-8 Halal Expo Indonesia 2026, Indonesia aims to strengthen its role as a centre for halal industry development while expanding trade, investment, and economic diplomacy networks in the global halal sector.
