Cyber University's Digital Entrepreneurship Programme Earns 'Excellent' Accreditation
The quality of a study programme is an important indicator in ensuring the standard of higher education. Cyber University, as a shaper of future digital leaders, has recorded a new academic achievement through its Digital Entrepreneurship programme. The programme has successfully obtained an ‘Excellent’ accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA). This predicate was established through Decree Number 169/DE/A.5/LAMEMBA-U/VII/2026, issued on Friday (10/7). The achievement followed a field assessment by the LAMEMBA assessor team on 24-26 May 2026, which was part of a comprehensive evaluation of the programme’s educational delivery, governance, resources, and graduate quality. Cyber University Rector Gunawan Witjaksono expressed his appreciation to all academic community members involved in the accreditation process. He stated that the result is the fruit of cooperation and commitment in maintaining educational quality. ‘Obtaining this Excellent accreditation is tangible proof of Cyber University’s commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of higher education. This achievement is not only a source of pride for the institution but also motivation for the entire academic community to continue providing education that is relevant to the needs of the business world, industry, and the development of digital technology,’ Gunawan said in a press release on Tuesday (14/7/2026). He thanked the lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, partners, and all parties who supported the accreditation process to achieve the best results. According to him, this collaboration is a key factor in building a quality and sustainable educational ecosystem. Meanwhile, the Head of the Digital Entrepreneurship Programme, Zaenal Arief, said this achievement is the result of synergy among all elements of the programme in building a quality culture. He considers the Excellent accreditation as recognition of the quality of education that has been implemented. ‘This Excellent accreditation is recognition of the quality of education delivery in the Entrepreneurship programme. Going forward, we will continue to improve the quality of learning, research, and community service, as well as expand collaboration with industry so that graduates possess innovative and adaptive entrepreneurial competencies, ready to face the challenges of the digital economy,’ said Zaenal. The Digital Entrepreneurship programme has been developing learning oriented towards strengthening digital-based entrepreneurial competencies. This approach is designed so that students not only understand theory but are also able to develop innovations and business solutions in line with technological developments. ‘This Excellent accreditation further strengthens our efforts to implement a sustainable education quality assurance system. Beyond being recognition of the programme’s quality, this achievement is expected to support the creation of graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the workforce and the digital economy at both national and global levels,’ he said.
