Cyber University Students to Gain International Exposure via Affordable Study Trip
Who says overseas experience is always synonymous with high costs? For students at Cyber University, known as the campus ‘Shaping Future Digital Leaders’, the opportunity to study and explore other countries can now be achieved for just Rp 6.5 million through the EduTrip Program Batch 3, scheduled to take place from 2–5 November 2026.
The programme invites students to visit two countries simultaneously, namely Singapore and Malaysia, through a blend of academic activities and educational tourism designed to broaden the participants’ international perspectives.
Over the course of four days, students will participate in various engaging agendas, including a Singapore City Tour, a visit to Singapore Management University (SMU), a campus visit to Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), and exploring several famous destinations in Kuala Lumpur.
The Head of Cyber University, Ibnu Alfarobi, stated that EduTrip is a manifestation of the university’s commitment to providing a broader learning experience for its students. “We want students to feel that learning does not only happen inside the classroom. With relatively affordable costs, they can gain international experience, encounter new cultures, see overseas campus environments firsthand, and build wider networks,” said Ibnu.
He noted that international experience is a vital added value for students in today’s global era. Therefore, Cyber University strives to present a programme that provides not only academic knowledge but also real-world experiences to support student self-development.
“Many students dream of going abroad but are often hindered by costs. Through this programme, we want to open those opportunities to make them more accessible. The hope is that students can return with new experiences, insights, and motivation to grow,” he added.
Carrying the theme ‘Build Your International Network’, EduTrip also serves as an opportunity for students to expand their relations and familiarise themselves with international environments while still in university. For students seeking more than just a standard lecture experience, this programme offers a valuable way to gain international exposure and prepare for the future.
