Cyber University Student Elen Archangela Achieves National Writing Award
Elen Archangela Chiriani Uge, a KIP Kuliah scholarship student at Cyber University, has earned recognition as a national writer, securing her a place in the 2026 KIP Kuliah Student Achievement and Career Strengthening Programme. The event was organised by the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region III and held at the Ary Ginanjar University Auditorium in South Jakarta on Thursday (25/6/2026). The opportunity served as an appreciation of her dedication and consistency in the field of literacy, whilst also proving that KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients are capable of achieving national-level accomplishments and competing with their peers. The 2026 KIP Kuliah Student Achievement and Career Strengthening Programme was attended by high-achieving students from various universities under the auspices of LLDIKTI Region III. Through this forum, participants received guidance from speakers representing the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP), and ESQ, aimed at strengthening achievement, leadership, and future career readiness. Elen’s participation in the programme stems from her track record in literacy. Amidst her academic commitments, she earned the title of National Book Author after receiving a ‘Very Good’ assessment in a competition held by national publisher Antero Literasi Indonesia. This accomplishment demonstrates that her continuously honed writing skills have developed into nationally recognised work. Vice Rector of Cyber University, Cep Adiwihardja, commended Elen’s achievement as a KIP Kuliah scholarship recipient who has demonstrated national-level success. He noted that this success proves that the opportunities provided through the KIP Kuliah programme can be optimally utilised by students with a passion for learning, creating, and developing their potential. ‘Elen’s achievement shows that limitations are not a barrier to achieving proud accomplishments. At Cyber University, we are committed to supporting students in developing their academic and non-academic potential through various coaching programmes and strategic partnerships. We hope Elen’s story can inspire other students to continue creating, dare to seize opportunities, and use every chance as preparation for future challenges,’ said Cep Adiwihardja. During the programme, participants received various briefings, including strategies for building achievements through student programmes, opportunities for further study through LPDP scholarships, and career skills development and potential mapping through the ESQ DNA Talent Test. These materials are expected to strengthen the competencies of KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients, making them better prepared to enter the workforce, pursue higher education, and contribute positively to society. For Elen, participating in this programme has become a motivation to continue developing herself and producing beneficial work. As a Cyber University student, she hopes that more KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients and young people will be brave enough to show their best potential and seize every opportunity to learn, create, and achieve. ‘Never feel inferior because of a humble background. Keep learning, keep creating, and seize every opportunity that comes. Achievement will follow those who never stop fighting,’ said Elen.
