Cyber University Student Becomes Pioneer of DKI Jakarta Anti-Drug Movement

The Chairman of the Student Executive Body (BEM) of Cyber University, Bimo Yunda Permana Putra, was selected to participate in the DKI Jakarta Core Youth Anti-Drug Training (KIPAN) for 2026. The activity took place at the Orchad Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/6/2026). This strategic training was organised by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Youth and Sports Office (Dispora) in synergy with the DKI Jakarta Provincial National Narcotics Board (BNN) to strengthen the role of youth as the front line in drug prevention. Bimo was the sole representative from a university in this provincial-level forum. His presence demonstrates that Cyber University students not only excel academically but are also active in social action. He stated that the training opened new perspectives on the importance of collaboration in protecting the younger generation. According to him, students must take on real roles beyond the classroom. “As students, it is not enough to just focus on academic achievement. We must also be present to provide real solutions to various problems in society,” Bimo said in a statement in Jakarta, Friday (12/6/2026). He said the material obtained during the training will be directly implemented into concrete work programmes within the campus environment. This step is expected to fortify students against the dangers of illicit drug trafficking. “Through this training, I gained valuable insights to build an anti-drug education movement. We want to create a clean and healthy digital campus ecosystem,” he said. Cyber University itself is widely known as a campus that shapes future digital leaders by integrating its learning with industry needs. In addition to focusing on technology talent, the campus continuously encourages its students to have high social awareness. Bimo emphasised that this social sensitivity is inseparable from the full support of the campus. The curriculum applied at Cyber University is also considered to strongly support the development of student leadership character. “Cyber University always supports us to not only be work-ready, but also ready to become agents of change. We are encouraged to be adaptive and care about the nation’s future,” said Bimo. The participation of Cyber University students in KIPAN 2026 is expected to produce young cadres with high integrity. This step is part of a shared commitment to realising a drug-free Indonesia in the future.
