Cyber University Partners with Five Entities to Expand Internship and Employment Access for Students
Cyber University has established collaborations with several partners from the education, banking, social, healthcare, and sports sectors. This partnership was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 4th Graduation Ceremony of Cyber University at the Pewayangan Kautaman Building, East Jakarta, on Thursday (17/09/2026).
The five partners entering into this agreement with Cyber University are LIA University, PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk, the Indonesian Social Foundation for Humanity, Helsa Jatirahayu Hospital, and BPJ Padel.
Cyber University stated that the cooperation covers various fields, ranging from education and research to student activities and the enhancement of competencies relevant to the needs of the workforce.
The Rector of Cyber University, Gunawan Witjakso, stated that collaboration with external partners is essential to provide students with experiences outside the academic environment. Such experience is also expected to help students prepare themselves before entering the professional world.
“Cyber University possesses more than 100 MoUs, MoAs, and IAs with collaborative partners to continuously improve the Tridharma of Higher Education and provide better opportunities for internships and employment prospects for Cyber University graduates,” said Gunawan.
To date, Cyber University has more than 100 cooperation documents consisting of MoUs, Memorandums of Agreement (MoA), and Implementation Agreements (IA) with various institutions.
According to Gunawan, this collaborative network also serves as a space for students to develop practical skills and understand the requirements of the professional world.
“With an ever-expanding network, students are encouraged to utilise every opportunity to hone their skills before advancing to higher career stages,” Gunawan explained.
The collaboration across various sectors is directed towards supporting the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, while simultaneously bridging academic learning with industrial needs.
