Cyber University Introduces 3+1 CLP to New Students' Parents

Universitas Siber Indonesia (Cyber University) held a dialogue event with parents of new students for the 2026/2027 academic year at its campus hall in South Jakarta on Saturday (25/7/2026). Carrying the spirit of ‘Elevate Your Mindset’, the activity aimed to build synergy between the campus and families to support students facing the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation. The event opened a dialogue space regarding the direction of higher education in the face of rapid technological disruption. As an institution focused on information technology and digital finance, Cyber University continues to build an education ecosystem relevant to the needs of cutting-edge industry, ranging from mastery of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT), to Digital Business. Addressing these challenges, Cyber University Vice Rector Agus Trihandoyo stressed that entering higher education is a preparation period so that the younger generation can survive amid changes that no longer run linearly. ‘Change now no longer occurs every ten years, but almost every month. Many old jobs are disappearing, while new professions continue to emerge. Therefore, the most important ability students must have is not just knowledge, but the ability to continuously adapt, learn, and create innovation,’ Agus said in a press release on Wednesday (29/7/2026). To realise this vision, Cyber University, as a Shaping Digital Future Leader, implements an adaptive curriculum approach through Project-Based Learning, integration of professional certifications, and close collaboration with industry. This entire concept is designed to produce graduates who do not merely rely on a diploma but are truly ready practically. One of the main advantages introduced to parents is the Company Learning Program (CLP) 3+1. Through this programme, students will spend three years strengthening their academic foundation, technical competencies, and soft skills such as leadership and communication. Subsequently, in the fourth year, they will be placed directly into a structured industry internship programme. ‘Through this CLP 3+1 programme, students are truly forged with three years of campus study and one full year of industry internship. This is our concrete step to ensure graduates not only hold a diploma but also possess a portfolio of projects and real work experience before they even graduate,’ Agus said. The modern learning approach at this campus also encourages students to transcend conventional classroom boundaries. Students are required to actively work on real projects, dissect industry case studies, and participate in competitions, hackathons, and community service. Beyond technical skills, the university also focuses on instilling values of integrity, discipline, collaboration, and a spirit of lifelong learning. Agus reiterated the institution’s commitment to not merely producing graduates who can keep up with the times, but who become creators of change in the digital economy era.
