NEW EXECUTIVES:
PT Mandala Airlines, a domestic commercial airline controlled by the Armed Forces and timber tycoon Mohammad (Bob) Hasan, inaugurated its new board of directors and commissioners on Saturday.
Army Chief of Staff General Wismoyo Arismunandar (extreme left), who is the company's chief commissioner, started the military-style ceremony by introducing Maj. Gen. Taroeb, the commander of the Strategic Reserve Unit (Kostrad), as a new member of the board of commissioners.
Taroeb replaced Maj. Gen. (ret.) Kuntara, who is now a commissioner of the listed PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa.
Other members of Mandala's board of commissioners are Bob Hasan (deputy chief commissioner), Soeweno and Juwono.
The airline's new board of directors installed Saturday included president Subagiyo (shaking hands with Wismoyo), general director Armyn Siregar (second from right), finance director Veronica (right), operation director Gunadi Sugoto and technical director R.J.F.X. Tumenggung. (hdj)
