Customs Issues Bonded Zone Licence for Children's Toy Manufacturer in Jombang
Kepala Kantor Wilayah Bea Cukai Jawa Timur II, Muhamad Lukman, officially issued a bonded zone facility licence to PT Camino Industrial Indonesia II on Wednesday (8/7/2026). Before receiving the licence, the company was required to submit an application, followed by a business process presentation. The licence was granted one hour after the company representative presented the business process to the Head of Office.
“The business process presentation is a crucial stage that the company must undergo to provide an overview of the business process to be carried out and its economic impact on the surrounding environment, as a consideration in the decision-making for the bonded zone facility licence,” Lukman stated on Wednesday (15/7/2026).
PT Camino Industrial Indonesia II is a children’s toy manufacturer located in Jombang, East Java, and has partnerships with global brands such as Disney and Munchkin, producing goods that meet international quality standards. The company currently employs around 600 local workers with an investment value of Rp 80 billion.
Bonded zones play a strategic role as a government instrument to drive exports and strengthen global competitiveness. This facility provides financial and operational advantages for export-oriented companies, including fiscal incentives such as import duty suspension, excise exemption, and exemption from Value Added Tax (VAT) and Article 22 Income Tax on imports.
Lukman emphasised his commitment to synergy and maintaining good communication with stakeholders through guidance, assistance, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure optimal state revenue, effective supervision, and targeted facilitation. “With the granting of this facility licence, it is hoped that the company will utilise it optimally and in accordance with applicable regulations, and become a driver of the economy and employment in East Java, particularly in Jombang,” he concluded.
