The KPK examined Ahmad Dedi (AD), a civil servant from Customs and Excise. After the examination, Dedi immediately ran away from the KPK building.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that Dedi is suspected of receiving money in the handling of incoming goods. Information regarding this receipt is still being further investigated by the KPK.

“There is a suspicion of receipt carried out by the individual in the handling of customs or importation of goods. This will continue to be investigated further regarding those statements,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo on Friday (8/5/2026).

The receipt is suspected to have been carried out by PT Blueray Cargo. However, the details of the amount cannot yet be specified as it is investigation material.

Dedi himself finished being examined by the KPK at 15:43 WIB. Dedi, wearing a white shirt, ran quickly after the examination to avoid the media.

“For the total (received money), this is still investigation material, so we just wait for the developments,” he said.

In this case, the KPK initially designated six people as suspects after conducting a hand arrest operation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) in a bribery case related to imports. The KPK seized evidence in this bribery case with a total value of Rp 40.5 billion.

“In addition, the KPK team also secured evidence from the residences of RZL, ORL, and PT BR as well as other locations because there are several locations, like safe houses. Those suspected to be related to this criminal act total Rp 40.5 billion,” said Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at the Red and White Building of the KPK, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (5/2).

The evidence seized by the KPK includes:

  • Cash in the form of Rp 1.89 billion

  • Cash in the form of USD 182,900

  • Cash in the form of SGD 1.48 million

  • Cash in the form of JPY 55,000

  • Precious metals weighing 2.5 kg or equivalent to Rp 7.4 billion

  • Precious metals weighing 2.8 kg or equivalent to Rp 8.3 billion

  • 1 luxury watch valued at Rp 138 million.

Three private parties in this case have already undergone trials. Those three are John Field as the leader of Blueray Cargo, Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo as the Operational Manager of Blueray Cargo, and Andri as the head of the Blueray Cargo document team.

The three leaders of PT Blueray Cargo are charged with giving money of Rp 61.3 billion in the form of Singapore dollars and providing various facilities and luxury goods amounting to Rp 1.8 billion. The KPK prosecutors assess that the actions of the defendants violate Article 605 paragraph 1 letter a and Article 606 paragraph 1 of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code.
