Tampak Siring (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said the current decentralization system of the government is correct so that the development activities of central government and regional administrations had been running well.

When opening the last-day plenum of the national working conference at the Tampak Siring Palace in Bali Wednesday, the Head of State said the success is reflected in the joint efforts of the central government and regional administrations in overcoming development problems comprehensively.

The President said the three-day working conference at the Tampang Siring retreat had tried to identify problems and find a comprehensive.

"In the discussions that had been done you contributed to achieving the aims of the working meeting. Those that you have said on the occasion are the right things to find a solution and improvements. That is the true importance meeting," he added.

The President said the three days and nights were obviously not enough to discuss and settle all the problems, but their discussions had produced comprehensive solutions.

On Wednesday before the conclusion, the coordinating ministers reported the results of discussions of each working group and then the President gave directives and guidance as well as close the working conference.

President Yudhoyono was also scheduled to officially open the 12th Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) at the JCC Assembly Hall by teleconference after closing the working conference, also attended by Vice President Boediono.(*)
