Minister of Culture Fadli Zon has praised the contribution of musician Is Haryanto to Indonesian music. Speaking at the ‘Sepanjang Jalan Kenangan: Sejuta Cinta Is Haryanto’ concert in Jakarta on Wednesday evening, Fadli said, ‘His songs have been sung by great singers and great musicians.’ During the event, Is Haryanto’s children—Vien Adiyanti Haryanto, Alice Adiyanto, Anna Adiyanto, Lucy Adiyanto, and Fris Adiyanto—presented the late musician’s original guitar to Fadli as a form of preserving his musical legacy.
