Cultural Parade Opens Penglipuran Village Festival 2026 in Bali

A cultural parade was held near the traditional houses of Penglipuran Tourism Village in Bangli, Bali, on Thursday, marking the opening of the Penglipuran Village Festival 2026. The festival, which is part of the Karisma Event Nusantara 2026 programme, is organised to promote the various potentials of the tourism area while simultaneously preserving local arts, culture, and the environment. The event featured performances by local residents, including a parade of children. Village managers continue to strive to strengthen management quality, maintain the area’s carrying capacity, and enhance visitor comfort. This effort comes as tourist visits to the village reached 308,444 people during the January to May 2026 period.
