Cucun Hands Over Second Tranche of Aid From the Ministry of Social Affairs to 59 Heirs of Pasirlangu Landslide Victims in Cisarua
INFO NASIONAL - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, handed over the second tranche of assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) to 59 heirs of victims of the Pasirlangu landslide in Pasirlangu Village, Cisarua District, Bogor, West Java. The handover ceremony took place at the Bandung Barat Regency Government Office on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.
The disbursement of the second tranche of assistance forms part of social recovery efforts for families affected by the landslide at the end of January 2026, and is part of the parliament’s ongoing commitment to monitor disaster response and recovery until it is complete.
As Chair of the DPR RI Disaster Management Supervisory Team, Cucun ensures that every family that lost a relative or their home receives compensation rights and economic support from the state transparently.
“Today we are handing over the second stage of support to 59 heirs. We want to ensure that the presence of the state does not stop at the emergency response phase, but continues until all victims’ families are truly stabilised both psychosocially and economically,” he said.
This assistance includes death compensation for the immediate family and business start-up packages for survivors who have lost livelihoods. This step aligns with tight coordination between DPR RI, the Ministry of Social Affairs, and Bandung Barat Regency Government to accelerate the normalisation of life for residents in Cisarua District.
The PKB faction politician emphasised that oversight of this aid is crucial to prevent data overlap. He also praised the local government performance in verifying beneficiary data so that the aid can be realised quickly.
