CT Group Signs Technology Cooperation Agreement with Bappenas
Jakarta (ANTARA) - CT Group Vietnam leader Tran Kim Chung has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), serving as a framework for long-term strategic cooperation in technology and development.
The agreement covers the development of Digital Twin technology, the Low Altitude Economy (LAE) ecosystem, innovation, sustainable infrastructure, industrial modernisation, research, and human resource development.
“This MoU reflects a shared commitment to supporting Indonesia’s long-term national development agenda. We want to build cooperation that is not only technology-oriented but also creates economic value and sustainable benefits for Indonesia,” said Tran Kim Chung in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He added that the MoU will be focused on a number of sectors considered to have the potential to become drivers of Indonesia’s future economic growth.
In addition to Digital Twin technology, LAE and UAVs, other fields that could be explored include aerospace technology, smart cities, digital transformation, advanced manufacturing, innovation ecosystems, commercialisation of research outcomes, and technology-based human resource development.
According to him, the implementation of the cooperation will be designed to align with Indonesia’s national development roadmap. Every initiative will take into account aspects of sustainability, technological innovation, industrial competitiveness, regional development, human resource strengthening, and the creation of economic value.
CT Group Vietnam expressed its commitment to acting as a long-term strategic partner supporting Indonesia’s development priorities.
Following the signing of the MoU, both parties will proceed with technical studies, project preparation, and the necessary regulatory processes. The collaborative projects are expected to be implemented in phases once all technical and administrative preparations have been completed.
“We believe thorough planning is essential to ensure that every project delivers sustainable and measurable long-term benefits for both Indonesia and CT Group,” said Tran Kim Chung.
Previously, CT Group Vietnam had also established cooperation with a number of institutions in Indonesia, including the Technology Institute of the University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Engineering (Lemtek UI), PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI), and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
