CT ARSA Foundation has conveyed its appreciation to the Indonesian Fleet Command (Koarmada RI) for assisting in the distribution of humanitarian aid to disaster victims in Sumatra. CT ARSA stated that Koarmada RI helped transport 100 tonnes of donations using naval vessels.

The appreciation was expressed by CT ARSA Foundation Secretary Latif Harnoko during a meeting with the Commander of Koarmada RI, Rear Admiral Denih Hendrata, at the Fleet Command headquarters in Jakarta.

“We have come here to express our gratitude from CT ARSA to Koarmada RI, which has been of tremendous help to us in providing support for the disasters in Aceh and elsewhere. I believe this represents an extraordinary step and a collaboration that can be developed between the Indonesian Navy and CT ARSA,” said Latif Harnoko at the Koarmada RI headquarters in Jakarta on Friday (27 February 2026).

Harnoko stated that the logistical aid was sent through two Indonesian Navy hospital ships: KRI Dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 and KRI Dr Soeharso-990. The total donations distributed reached approximately 100 tonnes.

“The shipment process was supported by logistical assistance from KRI Dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 and also KRI Soeharso-990, and in total we were assisted with approximately 100 tonnes for delivery,” he stated.

According to Harnoko, the synergy between CT ARSA and the Indonesian Navy has existed for some time. He expressed hope that the collaboration will continue in the future.

“So thank you for the tremendous support provided to us throughout Sumatra and Aceh. And hopefully this cooperation can continue not only in times of disaster, but as a more positive collaboration to build a stronger and higher-flying Indonesian Navy for the benefit of the Indonesian people,” he said.

Rear Admiral Denih Hendrata, Commander of Koarmada RI, warmly welcomed the appreciation. He emphasised that support for disaster mitigation activities is a responsibility of the Indonesian Navy.

“Thank you, I truly appreciate CT ARSA Foundation. And for me, supporting disaster mitigation activities is actually an obligation, which we have directly coordinated and collaborated on with CT ARSA Foundation, particularly in the Sibolga area,” he said.

Denih expressed hope that the collaboration between CT ARSA and Koarmada RI will continue. He looked forward to further cooperation, particularly in distributing aid to the Indonesian people.

“Alhamdulillah, this does not stop here – we hope that this cooperation can be continued in the future as we anticipate further assistance through the Indonesian Navy’s capacity between CT ARSA Foundation and the Indonesian Navy, particularly Koarmada RI,” he added.

The meeting concluded with the presentation of a commendation plaque from CT ARSA Foundation to Koarmada RI as a symbol of gratitude for the Indonesian Navy’s dedication to humanitarian missions in the country.
