PT Pintu Kemana Saja (Pintu) continues to expand its initiatives in financial education and literacy. Pintu held the Pintu Goes to Campus event titled Financial Literacy at Bale Sawala, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), Jatinangor, Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (9/4/2026). The event was attended by more than 200 students and included the presentation of awards to eight outstanding Unpad students. Unpad Rector Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita emphasised the importance of financial literacy for students amid the increasingly diverse development of financial products. “Financial literacy, including crypto literacy and investment, is something that is very important to understand. Without good understanding, various financial products have the potential to cause problems in the future,” he stated in a comment on Wednesday (15/4/2026). Djoko Kurnijanto added that there is still a gap between the levels of financial literacy and inclusion, particularly for crypto assets. “We continue to encourage the public not to simply follow trends in investing. The 2L principle, namely legal and logical, must be the guideline. Ensure that the assets and platforms used are licensed and not easily tempted by promises of guaranteed profits,” said Djoko. Meanwhile, Pintu’s Chief Marketing Officer Timothius Martin highlighted the rapid growth in crypto adoption, both globally and domestically. “Globally, around 700 million people have invested in crypto. In Indonesia, the number of investors has reached around 21 million, even surpassing the number of stock investors. The main challenge is no longer adoption, but literacy,” he said.
