Cryptocurrency trading activity in Indonesia continues to show significant growth. Data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded the value of crypto asset trading transactions reaching Rp171.12 trillion from January to July 2026.

During the same period, the number of crypto asset consumer accounts reached 22.93 million. This growth reflects the expanding participation of the public within the crypto asset ecosystem.

Alongside this development, aspects of literacy, security, governance, and consumer protection have become vital components for the sustainable development of the crypto asset industry.

Indodax Chief Marketing Officer, Aloysia Dian, stated that the development of the crypto industry must be accompanied by an increase in public understanding. According to her, service quality and user experience are also essential parts of the effort to build trust in crypto asset platforms.

“The growth of the crypto industry needs to go hand in hand with increased literacy and service quality. Therefore, we want to continue providing a platform that is increasingly accessible, secure, transparent, and supports the public in understanding crypto assets more wisely,” said Aloysia, as quoted from a written statement on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.

Aloysia explained that Indodax conducts educational programmes through the Indodax Academy. This programme includes learning materials, classes, and digital content, as well as collaborations with communities and institutions. These educational materials are aimed at helping the public understand crypto assets and blockchain technology.

These efforts coincide with Indodax’s achievements in the crypto asset industry, where PT Indodax Nasional Indonesia received the Disway Awards 2026 – Trusted & Popular Brand 2026 in the Crypto Exchange category. The award was presented based on research and public surveys organised by the Disway National Network in collaboration with Infovesta Utama.

Indodax noted that it has served more than 10 million members. This figure is part of the total crypto asset consumer accounts in Indonesia, which reached 22.93 million as of July 2026. Aloysia stated that the award serves as an incentive for the company to maintain service quality while strengthening security, innovation, and education.

“This award is meaningful to us because it comes from public assessment. Trust is not just about how widely a brand is known, but also about how we continue to maintain service quality, security, and provide relevant education for the public,” she explained.
