The crypto asset market is currently tending to move sideways amidst uncertain economic and geopolitical conditions. In the midst of these conditions, the tokenisation of real-world assets (RWA) is beginning to become a global trend.

Andy Putra, President Director of PT Pintu Kemana Saja (PINTU), stated that economic and geopolitical uncertainty is causing the crypto market movement to trend sideways.

“If I may, in my view, the current crypto trend is more accurately described as sideways. This is because economic and geopolitical conditions are quite uncertain, leading to this sideways trend,” said Andy during the Pindu VIP Private Media Gathering in Jakarta on Friday (18/09/2026).

According to Andy, RWA is one of the interesting developments amidst these conditions. RWA refers to real-world assets that are tokenised into digital assets, such as stocks, ETFs, indices, and commodities.

“This is becoming very hyped worldwide. That is why we are very pleased to introduce Ondo Finance as our partner, enabling us to launch even more tokenised assets for the Indonesian market,” he added.

PINTU began introducing tokenised assets in December 2025 with four tokens. The number has now reached 55 tokens, with trading volume increasing threefold. Through the partnership with Ondo Finance, PINTU aims to add more than 100 tokenised assets.
