Crypto investors increasingly aware of research and strategy

Digital asset users or crypto investors are increasingly rational in understanding risks, investment strategies, and blockchain technology fundamentals rather than just following market trends. Indodax CEO William Sutanto stated that many people previously entered crypto due to fear of missing out (FOMO) or simply following trends, but the way society interacts with the crypto industry is now changing. ‘The approach is shifting. Investors are becoming more aware of the importance of disciplined research and strategy when facing the market,’ he said in Jakarta on Wednesday. According to him, this behavioural change is a sign that the crypto industry is gradually moving towards a more mature phase. Beyond asset price movements, blockchain technology developments are driving new digital sector applications, including asset tokenisation, technology infrastructure development, and various blockchain-based innovations within the digital ecosystem. William added that the community remains a key foundation in the industry’s development since Bitcoin’s inception. Unlike traditional financial industries that grew institutionally, he noted that digital assets have largely been built through active communities that organically create discussions, education, and information distribution.
